1 /5 M Rob: Avoid this branch. Very poor and questionable business practices. They will tell you you are approved for several loan options (secured and unsecured). When you elect to go with the unsecured option they drag it out two weeks and then tell you they’ve changed their minds and suddenly you’re not approved. Hmm. They do not call you back with updates you have to call them and ask repeatedly for updates. They say they are waiting for their loan underwriters to get back to them. Do yourself a favor, go to a competitor and get a quicker approval, al at a much better rate. Even if you are credit challenged, Mariner and Quicken Loans are much better options and will get you taken care of quickly, as will the local credit union. Stay away from One Main Financial. They are essentially higher dollar payday loan type lender. The branch on South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi has to be one of their worst. I’ve used them several times in the past in Georgia. Was nothing like these folks. Buyer beware.
