Kristyn Underwood I have been a member here for years and had considered moving my account to another union that has more locations. Today I went with my son to a bigger Credit Union, he has an account there, it was big and very impersonal and hardly anyone at their many desks. We had to come here to my bank after (I had to make a deposit) and we talked to Juan about possible loan my son is looking in to. My son was in a hurry and didnt want to stop by my bank, I told him its a smaller space with more people and they are always attentive. Yall didnt disappoint, as soon as we walked in we were taken care of and Juan went above and beyond making us feel comfortable and checking in a couple times later in the day during the process. I have decided after this experience to keep my account here. My son is now considering getting one here because Juan told us my son doesnt have enough credit built yet but explained another path that leads to the goal, that R1 provides. He said they have a credit building program to save money and build credit, honestly it sounds good. Thank you for taking time to explain and help us understand our options Juan is 10/10 and r1 is small with less locations but definitely worth it

Kimberly J I got a loan with OneMain Financial to help build my credit a while back. Since then, I’ve received multiple emails saying I’m approved for a loan increase. But every time I apply, it says I’m approved then someone says I need to use my vehicle as collateral. That was never mentioned upfront on the application, which feels very misleading. On top of that, I had a scheduled call they never made, and when I followed up, no one called me back like they said they would. So I contacted the store and spoke with i believe someone named Maria and I explained everything and asked to be removed from these misleading emails. The woman said she’d remove me, then hung up in my face. Overall, poor communication and false advertising.
