1 /5 Zachary Lofgren: Have to take back my previous 5 star review. I thought I made the right choice by going with Michelle for home insurance but definitely see I made the wrong decision. The broker that assisted in the closing of my property connected me with Michelle so I thought it was a smart move, I signed my first home insurance policy with Michelle that same day I got the referral while I was in the brokers office. We were ready to go, at that time I had 7 dogs and there were no issues or talks of concerns with the breed or how many I have, and difficulties of obtaining a policy. Come 3 years later I’m getting non renewed due to the breed of 1 of dogs despite having only 3 now instead of 7 and despite the breed they’re so concerned with being an ESA backed both by paperwork and recommendation/prescription letters. I had simple questions about why it’s an issue now when she knew about my dogs when signing me up for the policy and it was no problem then but now I’m out of alignment with my contract for not maintaining a policy I agreed to keep. I’m just trying to understand why it’s a problem now when we could have had this conversation before closing on how difficult maintaining a policy would be with a pitbull despite her being an ESA and instead of help I’m being told Michelle had no knowledge of my dogs and if she did she wouldn’t have been able to write the policy and wouldn’t have even wasted my time by quoting me etc… just be weary. Seems like a lot of people have good experiences with Michelle and I personally only had issues with my home insurance policy and getting the run around. Anything I needed regarding car insurance with progressive I didn’t have any issues or complaints.
