He, also, just so happens to be an outstanding craftsman as well as an extraordinarily talented artist !!
His work presents extremely well, needs no introduction and speaks for itself as true, authentic Western Art !
All of the above accolades were readily earned and justified by my decision to select Mike to create a very sentimental vintage family heirloom tribute for a very highly regarded and respected pubic service icon who was bred, born, raised, lived, died & is buried deep in the Heart of West Texas. Mike took on a unique project that began as nothing more than my own mentally visual image, a few crudely scribbled sketches plus at least a dozen or so long distance phone calls as well as more than a few unexpected challenges along the way... and ... very patiently created the very nearly exact replica of my originally dreamed-up mental visual image, except for only his most welcomed minor technical, creative/artistic suggestions/ recommendations.
Finally, I was most pleasantly, i.e.- favorably surprised when Mike presented his final invoice, especially when he was called upon and perfomed well above & beyond that which might normally be expected.
Major KUDOS, Mike, for a job extremely well done & very, very much appreciated by these and, hopefully, many more proud generations of West Texas McKinneys !!!
