5 /5 Alicia Hanson: Edit: I have never done an edit to a review before, but feel wholeheartedly that this one is necessary. Lola, the store manager reached out to me and was genuinely concerned about the experience I had that ultimately led to my initial negative review. She took the time out of her day and REALLY listened to me. She wasn’t concerned about getting me take my review down or edit it or anything like that. She wanted to take my experience and use it as a coachable aspect for her team and to ensure that no one else, including myself, ever has that experience again and I absolutely believe that she will use it to better her team. I am very impressed with the conversation we shared and felt it only right to make this edit. I haven’t been back into the store yet but following our call I will most definitely be going back again. Thanks for reaching out Lola and I look forward to my next visit. As always James Avery jewelry is my go to everyday favorite and I am confident my past experiences will not be the same moving forward.
I have over one hundred James Avery pieces from charms to pendants to necklaces to rings and bracelets etc etc etc. I have been a JA lover for years. I was so excited when I saw this location open as I live in the area and have had to travel to the Galleria in Bee Cave for 3 years now to shop. The very first time I went in which was the beginning of December of 2022 they were extremely friendly and helpful and the perfect epitome of what a James Avery associate has always been in my experience . I bought over 600 dollars worth of jewelry on that visit. Now every time I go in there they are short and rude and don’t offer to help or even come out from behind the counter, and it’s not like they were busy either. Sad part is I always come in wearing JA pieces so it’s pretty evident I’m a frequent buyer and yet this location has the shortest and just downright unhelpful associates I’ve ever encountered at a JA. If you need to do any in store shopping I would highly recommend making the trip into Bee Cave and going to the location in the Galleria, that’s most definitely what I will be doing. Such a bummer. But at least I won’t have to watch the sales associates dive into the little office to avoid helping me or showing me anything. I truly don’t understand why they behave like that. I went there today to buy a pendant and got that same behavior for the third and last time, needless to say I’ll just buy my pendant online. The jewelry speaks for itself, but this is easily the worst location I’ve ever been to.
