1 /5 Tierra Humphries-Pierce: My mother and I entered the store, the only customers present, to buy charm bracelets for my daughters and ended up selecting a piece of jewelry for my husband as well. Unfortunately, upon our arrival, we weren’t greeted or acknowledged by any of the five employees at the counter. After waiting a few minutes, we approached the counter for assistance, asking, “Do we need to come to the counter for help?” The staff seemed indifferent and annoyed by our presence, offering no clear response. Eventually, a woman named Katherine came to assist us, and she was very helpful.
Although we felt uncomfortable and considered leaving without making a purchase, we ultimately spent around $600. Had our initial interaction been more positive, we likely would have bought additional items. Instead, we left to continue our shopping at another jewelry store, where we experienced excellent service.
