College of the Mainland - Texas City (TX)

4 /5 Amanda Bennett: I love this place. Starting over was hard enough but the staff here made everything easy. Unfortunately I may be transferring to ACC next semester because they still recognize ITT Tech credits. Would give 5 stars if COM did too.

5 /5 eyquionette latin: COM was the first college I attended. If I can offer a young person who may have some financial challenges some advice it would be to attend a community college first. COM has some great certificate and degree plans especially their nursing and chemical processing. A lot of times you may be able to get a scholarship or grant. Please dont take out a lot of student loans like I did unless you really need to do so. For some people just needing to relax, go walk the track and check out the ducks! Its a fun way to take your mind off things, get some exercise & fresh air and wont cost you a dime.

5 /5 The Boom-Body: I only took two accounting night classes here, and I frequented the gym for about a year, but I thought it was a good value and I really enjoyed my instructors. They made going back to school quite comfortable after a seven-year absence.

5 /5 corralia knapp: the ongoing educaiton programs here are great. they helped me move forward in my career. it wasnt expensive and they ewre flexible and helpful with guiding me as a non-traditional student returning after years away from a formal educational setting it was a great decision for me
