This Amica insurance just gives sympathetic replies but no action. Standard operating procedure with this Amica location. Highly unethical, and it starts at the top.
Looks like Ill have to file a report/ complaint on these people to the TDI (Texas Department of Insurance) and the BBB.
Their motto should be, "ignore as long as we can and screw the people."
My story.
A lady, covered with this Amica insurance, hit my Lexus mirror with her shopping cart and scratched it, and I have a witness; my wife and I observed it, too. The policy holder confirmed she hit my car.
That was 14 May 2024. I called her insurance (this one) and requested a claim. Ive called 6 times. They have never returned my calls and each time I call, it goes straight to their voice mail.
Trash service, ignores their responsibility about getting it fixed, and out of desperation, I had to contact my insurance to call them. My insurance company is now involved.
Now, I understand how an insurance company screws you. They just ignore you thinking youre a little person, and they can ignore your request and claim.
What a terrible, awful company. I see why they only have 2.5 stars. No call back, no help, no service, and it appears they will try to cheat you.
Whos in charge here, some crook? If I were an employee here with any respect for myself and others, I would quit and go to a real, ethical company that treats people fairly.
