1 /5 nick gerleman: Absolute scam of a company. Dropped me after 1 month of coverage. I’ve got a clean driving record. No tickets, no at fault wrecks. They said I can’t prove garaging. Keep in mind this is a state minimum, liability only plan. And 2 months later I get an email saying there is an over due balance that will hit my credit.

1 /5 Param Malhotra: 1 Star – Snapshot is a Ripoff, and Progressive Knows It I had one of the worst insurance experiences ever with Progressive’s Snapshot program. I was out of the country for 4 weeks and not driving, so naturally, my phone wasn’t sharing location data. Despite that, Progressive decided to charge me extra — apparently as a penalty for not sharing my location while I wasn’t even in the U.S.! To make things worse, they never sent me a bill or any kind of notice. I found out about the charge 4 months after canceling my policy. Talk about shady business practices. Here’s the kicker: I called their customer service, and even the representative acknowledged that this charge shouldnt be there and that it should be removed. But since my policy is already canceled, she said there’s nothing they can do — I still have to pay it. Unbelievable. This Snapshot program is misleading and borderline predatory. It punishes you for things that make zero sense, and Progressive hides behind technicalities instead of doing the right thing. They’ve lost my trust and my business. Avoid Progressive and their Snapshot trap at all costs.

1 /5 Burt C: A Progressive policy holder backed into my vehicle on March 11,2025. I filled a claim the same day. The adjuster called me the next day and that was the last time I heard from him her. I texted her multiple times and she would text back a time she would call but never did. I finally called an expedited claim number and was given a new adjuster. He called and told me he would review the claim and call back within two days. Four days later and no call. The Progressive play book is obvious- ignore the claim/claimant and maybe they will go away. Flo would be so disappointed. Buyer beware.

1 /5 J MC: The racist African lady behind the counter acted like she couldn’t find my paperwork just to have a power trip with me when all it took for her to do is stamp the document in her hand 3 times VS BEING HELPFUL AND KIND. Don’t hire people like this if you don’t want a bad name for your business in person!

1 /5 Partha Mishra: BEWARE!! Go anywhere else but to Progressive. Progressive was all okay for 5 years while my car was running fine and Progressive just had to collect the premiums. Now that they need to take care of something, they have been handling my claim since Feb 27th - which is going to be 6 months very soon. Let me give you some reasons why you should stay away from (and I will update this review to add names of people to stay away from as well): 1. Their claims rep will almost never pick up your call. 2. If you send them an email at 10 am in the morning, theyll reply back only at night to ensure your entire day is over. 3. The assessors will push for used/ low quality parts. This will ensure that you keep facing issues and have to go to the workshops again and again and Progressive will keep on changing your assessor to make sure you keep paying the premiums for longer. 4. They will also be shamelessly late to visit the workshop. At this time, my car is at the workshop for 2 weeks and the workshop doesnt have the authorization to start working. I will keep updating as I find out more. Please switch away if you can. If youre in it for lower premiums, its not worth it when youd need it the most.
