1 /5 Mama S: Do not bank with Trustco. I’m sad to say after about 10 years, which really didn’t have major issues until last year. I don’t know what happened after the pandemic, it seemed like all of their staff left, leaving them with closing branches early, not being open on Saturdays, etc. etc. Then I was hit with fraudulent charges, four different occasions. I’ve been through two different checking accounts, endless number of buying checks that I don’t use anymore. My debit card being hit on three different occasions. Then them allowing a payment to go through. That was not in my name, for $3000. Then they also Deposited money in someone else’s account, so glad I was on top of everything. I was able to catch it. Don’t fall for their fraud alert, they do not catch everything. I watching my account like a hawk and that’s how I caught some things. They allow someone to take money out of an account , electronically. I am done with them and basically closed all of my accounts and I’m going to a different bank. As I was closing out my accounts, they have the nerve to say to me, the frauds probably gonna stay with you. It’s not our bank. Then as I was moving everything out of there again deposited the money into the wrong account. It has been a nightmare the last year. I am exhausted from their incapacity to hire people who can simply type in a number accurately.
