5 /5 Vision Vitruvian (Anima): A lovely, impeccably organized vintage jewellery store. A real treasure trove for fashion students, stylists, and lovers of 20s to 60s (and older) rhinestone, enamel and silver jewellery. Stock mens and womens jewellery, accessories, cufflinks, buttons- and more (see videos). The staff were lovely, and even recommended me a secondhand gem in the neighborhood (Screaming Mimis), because I was pressed for time, and much of the stores I had researched prior to my trip were overhyped, and not great at all. For all Europeans and Brits: this is an American store, so do not expect this to be a European or UK style antiques shop with ware from the 1700s. Think Hollywood costume jewellery, and newer vintage, mainly 19th century, with some older pieces. Prices are anywhere from 20 Dollars or less for some buttons up to multiple hundreds, depending on the age, quality and craftsmanship of the piece. This store looks small, but if you go through all the drawers in search of your dream piece, you might want to spend a good while here. P.s.: I have always been into Art Deco (kitschy or not), and they have plenty of it.

5 /5 Kay Pepper: What a surprise to find this place, a nice selection of items and nothing that breaks the bank. I would love the boat paintings but I dont have a budget for it. They have a good amount of items for antique lovers. The entrance is beautiful and fun fancy walk into the alley store, its a nice place to stop by and check out. Its always good to support local.

4 /5 Xueying Hu: The store is a bit overpriced, but whenever I go, there’s wonderful collection and welcoming staffs. So I always pick one or two pieces when I step into this store.

1 /5 Alex Young: Incredibly rude!! Be warned that you cannot be on the phone at this shop. Not even at a hushed volume like I was. News flash…this is a jewelry store, not a spa or a library. The fact that they would have this absurd policy baffles the mind. Especially since I was literally on the phone with the person who wanted the piece of jewelry. Nope, you aren’t even allowed to describe a piece of jewelry to someone over the phone without being aggressively and over the top rudely treated. What a joke. If you are allowed to be on the phone at Tiffany’s, then you should also be allowed to be on the phone here. Will absolutely never be back again.
