1 /5 Elena Barrueco: Terrible. Wasnt even allowed to walk through the door. Told it was wholesale only. Like ok…but there is no sign in the store front. Why have a business in a city where foreigners come to visit and you can’t even purchase anything unless you own a business. Makes absolutely no sense! What if I spent the same amount as a wholesaler? I even called to see if the next day was also wholesale and they straight up said “oh I don’t know you’re gonna have to come and find out”.

1 /5 Niecy Miles: As a Black customer, I had a deeply traumatic and racist experience at P and K Jewelry. What should have been a simple shopping trip turned into an encounter filled with disrespect and discriminatory behavior. No one deserves to be treated the way I was—especially not when simply trying to spend their money in good faith. If you are Black, I strongly urge you to reconsider shopping here. Protect your peace, your dignity, and your time. Businesses like this do not deserve our support when they fail to show basic respect and humanity.

1 /5 Mont: I just walked in asking if I can see some gold hoop earrings. There was one Hispanic and one Asian lady. The Hispanic lady was super sweet, guiding me to the earrings. I heard good things about this shop so I was going to do some summer shopping. The Asian lady gave me a stank face, I don’t know why. My sister and I didn’t even do anything, touch anything yet. We were in the store for 2 minutes. Then, the Asian lady came and told the Hispanic lady that she has to give us a ticket cause I have a tote bag….and that I was messing up the earrings when my bag lightly grazed which it. I said I’m sorry and made sure nothing fell. Then the Hispanic lady said “Honey, she said we must give you a ticket to put away your bag cause it causes jewelry to fall.” But the Asian lady gave me the meanest face either, she was targeting me from the beginning. I worked in sales so I don’t touch anything until I’m sure I want it. This was disgraceful customer service, please don’t do this - especially when I didn’t even do anything. The Hispanic sales associate looked confused too. My sister told me not to write the review but I felt that it was too unfair. I never wrote a review about customer service like this before, you can check.

1 /5 AJ: They’re racist. Point blank. And it’s very clear by the other reviews here that they have a history of discrimination. Went in May 2025, around the time of this review and I was approached upon entering the store and was asked to hand over my bag since they claim to have a no bag policy. So this one employee gives me a ticket in exchange for my bag which I will get back once I’m done making my purchase. Less than a minute later I see a white woman walking around the store with a huge purse, and the same employee walked by her TWICE and said NOTHING about this bag policy, nor did he ask her to turn her purse in. I asked the employee why he chose to stay mum when dealing with her and he says “she has a purse, our policy is no open bags” and expects me to believe this as if I was born yesterday. Immediately asked for my bag back and didn’t give them a dime. Spend your money with the small vendors in union square instead! They’re not bigots…

3 /5 Akilah Gordon: I’ve been coming to this place for about 4 years but I can’t any longer. They recently implemented a $200 minimum whole sale rule which was never the case in all the times I went there before. It’s a shame because this had been one of my go to places to find affordable jewelry
