Ron Linhart I have been a customer for about 20 years for my home, auto, rv, boat, motorcycle, and business. Insurance is the biggest expense I have, although a necessary one. Recently I have been thinking about getting other quotes. Before I could do so I had a tree fall on my home. I was advised the best way to take care of the damage and emailed receipts for several thousand dollars the following week. The NEXT DAY Debbie called me to pick up the check! Paid in full, right out of her account. Unbelievable customer service, right? Well I lost the check. I called her this morning to ask her to stop the check. Later the same day I had a new check in hand. I asked to pay the stop payment fee, but she wouldnt take it. I decided I dont need to shop for insurance. I dont know if I could have saved a few bucks, but I do know that the service Debbie gave me is the reason I have insurance in the first place. Thank you Debbie!

Mel Solomon Burchell agency recently took over the Nationwide office in Ithaca after Stan Barlow retired. I am just getting to know the agents in the office. Recently without me contacting them, Nikki called me and said there may be new ratings that Nationwide has introduced for auto insurance and would I mind if she re-did a quote for me. In a few days I got a call from her saying that my premium would go down over $200 for 6 months. Could I use the $200? You bet! What agent would call a customer to voluntarily reduce pricing?
