5 /5 Kristen Smith: Had nbt bank senice I was 6 years old my mom made a kids account for me so when I turn 18 it would help me with collage funds. So when I was 18 made new account as an grown up started having a Debt card and using it. it save my life because my cash keeps being stoleing so everything on card around. I carry that card in my hand 24/7. Also love nbt online banking helps me to know how much I can spend tell u how munch in your card. Only problem people like to hack my account. But I guess it happens to everyone not sure what to do about it. Also Like how bank texts and call To tell me if there there a hacker trying to use my card. Staff is friendly. The staff there takes time to help u out.

1 /5 Rachel Clifford: This is the worst bank branch I have ever been a customer of. This past weekend my family drove the hour round trip to NBT Bank in Canton to withdraw $520 from the account there. After my husband inserted his debit card the machine glitched up and said it was out of service and spit his card back out and he recieved no money which he really needed. Then today (Monday) I noticed a -520 pending charge for a withdrawal so I called the bank thinking it would be fairly simple since there is a camera right on the atm. The branch manager told me that there is nothing she could do until Wednesday when they balance the atm. We are a 6 person household living off of one income which already makes it difficult, luckily we do have a bit of a cushion. Still I feel like this amount of money would break most families like ours especially in this economy not to mention during a global pandemic. How hard would it have been for this bank to simply balance the ATM sooner, give us back our money until they figured out THEIR mistake, or even look at the camera on it seeing we received no money. Not these people because they simply do not care one bit about their customers or the hardships they will face due to an error caused by NBTs ATM. This is not the first time we have lost hundreds of dollars inspite of it being "safely" in an NBT account so be careful because if it happens to you or your family there will likely be no assistance for you.

4 /5 Nathaniel Todd: Ive gone with NBT for two mortgages and a HELOC and have been pleased with the relationship. Amy Plumadore has been particularly friendly and helpful. NBT also features some of the best rates in the area which certainly factored heavily in my decision. One minor annoyance--I can only have my mortgage on auto pay if I fund an NBT checking account. Since I really have no use for this account otherwise, it unnecessarily complicates my finances.
