5 /5 E: I needed one of the stones reset in my engagement ring and wasnt sure where to go. We decided to give Goff Jewelers a try. The woman who helped us was kind and professional, and we immediately felt comfortable having it repaired there. It was fixed and cleaned within one day. The man who helped us when we picked it up was also quick and professional. We would definitely return and recommend them to others. 10/10 experience.

1 /5 J: Do not recommend this place whatsoever . I had originally walked in just pricing around a solid gold 14 karat rope bracelet. They did not have the exact size and inches in the store so they said they can order me one. I was so excited with the price being in range that I paid in full on my credit card. It took about a week or a little longer for it to come in. I had my sister pick it up for me because I was at work and didn’t want to wait. When I had gotten home excited to try it on it was the most flimsy cheapest bracelet I’ve ever held in my life. Now this is supposed to be a 14 karat solid gold almost $700 bracelet I felt A newborn baby could break in half. As I was pissed off and went back to the store to explain what had felt like they were trying to get over on me. They told me they were only going to give me store credit. After about a half hour, waiting to speak to the owner who never came over because he was too busy with another customer. The father of the shop Finally came over, I explained to him this is the cheapest bracelet I’ve ever felt in my entire life. It’s supposed to be solid gold. It weighed like a feather. I never in my life pulled, the I’m a woman card, But in the moment, I never felt so taken advantage of. After he agreed to go heavier and thicker at the same price mind you I felt a little better. Now while this was all happening my sister had came in and purchased two picture necklaces. The fact that I was already spending more money in there, and I had a fight for some type of relief bothered me even more. Long story short I was happy with the second Bracelet. Which I still want to get priced because now I no longer trust them. After gifting for Christmas, the two heart shaped necklaces that have a picture in both of them, one of the recipients after wearing it for two days already fell apart. I normally do not jewelry shop in the mall, but I had heard decent things about this place and how they were speaking to me when I originally came in felt like they understood and appreciated their customers, but I will never give them a penny ever again.

3 /5 Cutie Pie: I came here a few weeks ago to get a chain repaired. While I was there, I asked if they could steam my other chain too — they offered to do it for free. Both chains came out looking great. I was impressed and figured this would be my go-to jewelry spot. So when I needed a lobster claw replaced on another chain (about $140), I came back without hesitation. I also brought the first chain back because two links had fallen off shortly after the original repair. I called ahead, and a very kind woman told me to bring it in and they’d take care of it — which I really appreciated. In the store, a young guy helped me — maybe Indian, great hair, super respectful. Professional and easy to talk to. If things had stayed with him, this would’ve been a totally different review. Then a manager stepped in — short, chubby white guy — and immediately shut things down when he realized I was told the repair would be free. He told me, “You paid to fix that individual link. The ones that broke are two links away and further down — $30 per link.” Mind you, I paid more than $30 for the repair. For context — each link is maybe 2mm long. I paid for a repair, and someone with a magnifying glass soldering that area couldn’t notice or reinforce weak links right next to it? That just doesn’t sit right. Then he says, “The link we repaired is the strongest one now. The rest of the chain is compromised.” And of course, he tries to upsell me on scrapping it and buying a new chain. If the whole chain was bad, why take the repair in at all? Why not say that from the start instead of taking my money and blaming me later? I left with both chains and didn’t go through with the lobster claw purchase. The woman on the phone and the younger guy in-store were great — and to be fair, most of the staff seem solid. But that guy? Grimy. I’m giving it a 3 stars just because I support family owned businesses and believe everyone else there is sincere, but my experience with that guy was one star.
