3 /5 Kayla Kitchen: About a month ago I reached out to look for insurance quotes. I had recently bought a vehicle from a family member. Nothing fancy, just a 2017 Honda. An older woman took my initial phone call. I felt like she was almost insisting that my car did not exist. She kept I must be giving her the wrong number for my VIN because it started with the letter S. That it was not correct because the VIN didnt start with another letter like a J or G that applies to cars manufactured in Japan. My car was not made in Japan. It was built by Honda of the U.K... I emailed photos of the stickers on my car. She was still not able to help
Another employee did call me a few days later that was finally able to offer help. But at that point I had already purchased insurance elsewhere. I needed it quickly to be able to drive my new car and get it registered under my name at the DMV.
