5 /5 Victoria Manzo: Couture Jewelry is local and they feel like it. With so many big businesses and competitors trying to grab our attention and consume us today, we normalize purchases to feel like a transactional experience. The owners of Couture Jewelry are the epitome of mom and pop shop; they are truly excited to serve their neighborhood and provide their community with symbols and mementos to celebrate the many joys of life. I have purchased jewelry from them on several occasions and it has been a pleasure to work with them each time. I highly recommend them, especially if you’re looking for a custom design. Carlos loves his work and gets excited at an opportunity to design something unique. I am an incredibly indecisive customer and they were patient and supportive through the entire process. After they did beautiful work creating a gold pendant for my god-child’s baptism, I was eager to go back to them for my wedding. Carlos designed a custom two-toned yellow and white gold, textured wedding band that I am so in love with. He made my blurry vision a reality. What brings me to write this recommendation, apart from their great jewelry work, is their customer service. I insisted on buying a hollow gold chain for my husband’s birthday, they were hesitant but accommodated my request, ordering the item from one of their manufacturers. They were right to be hesitant and I certainly learned my lesson. The chain was so light and thin that it broke within a week of light wear. I returned to Couture Jewelry several weeks later hopeful that they might be able to support me, and they readily returned the money for the item, incurring their own monetary loss so I did not have to. They felt it was their responsibility given that the quality of the product was not representative of their standards. Every experience with them has been pleasant and I feel certain that they are about people and product, not profit. Thank you Couture Jewelry!
