Shyla Coleman Michigan 1st was an awesome credit union when I was a member. Lately I had been considering reopening my accts there. Only issues I have are the locations are not really convenient and the way the ATMs are setup is beyond unsafe....That was my primary reason for closing my acct. I dont think that the person (s) who designed the drive up ATM thought about the safety aspect of having both machines on a wall where you have to wait for the person in front of you to finish their transaction even when youre done. That is a setup if you ask me. If someone pulls behind you, youre stuck.

Geraldine Wilson On 6/2/23 I contacted CFCU’s main number and I spoke with your Customer Service Representative by the name of ‘Jose’. Jose was polite, helpful and took the time to address my questions and provide me with clear answers. It was a pleasure speaking with a representative who still understands the importance of “customer service”. Jose is a prime example of why members like me, love Chief Financial Credit Union! Thank you Jose for being so kind and such a pleasure to speak with.

Alex Senko You’ll never get a hold of a customer service rep, it’s all automated. There’s not even an option for you to request to speak to a real person. They don’t send out any of those payment booklets that every other financial institution does. God forbid you need to skip a payment, you’ll never reach anyone to get the approval on that. Accidentally paid twice for one month and need the money back? Sorry, you’re just gonna have to deal with it bc you can’t reach anyone. Worst loan company ever, I wanted to rate 0 stars, but obvi that’s not possible. Based off the other reviews, they don’t care to remedy any of these issues either.
