The shop is super cute too and service was super friendly and accommodating. (Btw if you want same-day appointments you can call and shell let you know if you can come in since the website doesnt let you do same-day)

bruce breuer Great service, real people, mom n pop shop, beautiful jewelry, sometimes there’s only one sales person. If they are busy with another customer you just have to wait patiently out of respect for them to finish up with the customer before you. I highly recommend shopping here!

Ashleigh DAndrea David Nelson’s Jewelers is a family owned and operated staple of Joliet!!! You get the best price, with the best quality on any thing that you buy. Dave and this establishment are pillars of Joliet’s community. Without his store front on Jefferson Street? I swear to God, I would think the world is ending. The quality of his jewelry knows no end! I have seen rare volcanic diamonds that could only be obtained by crossing the world over. Dave Nelson is one of those people that you rarely, if ever, come across in a lifetime. If you have jewelry that you need him to validate? He is always the first one to be generous enough to do it, even if there’s nothing to validate in an endless pile. No one else does this, trust me, I have tried. When my mother passed from breast cancer? I had so much questionable jewelry and there was no one or where to go that would check it all, except Dave. He was there for me, professionally, and always has been. Dave is exceptionally generous. His son is also one of my very best friends. If I could cover all of the times that Dave was there for me as child? I would. How many times he put dinner on the table for me while I had none? How many times he stuck up for me to bullies? How many times he had pig roasts and invited the entire community? I could go on, forever. This place? These people? They defy quality and kindness. They show you the very definition of ‘Class’. So, when my jewelry breaks? When I need any jewelry? There has never been a question in my mind on where to go. David Nelson’s Exquisite Jewelry is it. Support Our Local Businesses!!!!

Sandy Carver Very friendly family owned jewelry store. They have something for anyones budget. Great store to have in our little town. Update - I always felt good about taking my jewelry here. But since the owner retired and his son took over. This place is an absolute joke. I took my wedding ring in to have an upgraded stone put in back in March. This was a gift from my husband to upgrade my ring. After multiple calls and our anniversary come up in August, it still wasnt ready (really 5 months later). So I went in demanding to see my ring. Was starting to feel like I was getting the run around. They did have it, but still not ready. I said I wanted it by August 28 (our anniversary). Assured me it would be ready. So the day came and went in, he said sorry blah blah I can have it for next week. I lost it! Next week my anniversary will be over. Its today, and youve had my ring 6 months. I stormed out. An hour later, he called me to say hed deliver it to me in an hour. 2 hours pass, and here he was. He did his best to hide my ring but charged me nothing. Rightfully so. Side diamonds were missing shotty soldering. I was devastated. Only plus my husband bought me a new ring since the original, which I loved so much, is now ruined. Will never be back.

Trevor J Stopped into Cornerstone for an engagement ring and more recently wedding bands. We could not be more excited. Brian was so helpful in walking us through the process since it was my first time buying jewelry. The custom rings came out absolutely amazing and far better than I could have guessed. Everyone else in the shop was very friendly and easy to work with. Would recommend to anyone, and will definitely be back at some point!
