And I couldn’t be any more happier with the purchases I made. If you need jewelry & you want to go somewhere legit. Iris is the place to go!

5 /5 Brianna Echevarria: I am so happy I found this store. I have a piece of southwest jewelry that no jeweler would touch. It was a size 9 embedded turquoise ring. I needed the ring to be resized to a 7, but because the stone was embedded every jeweler I talked to kept telling me no because they would ruin the stone and no one wanted that issue, which was completely understandable. However, when i came across these gentlemen they did not turn me away so fast. Joseph saw the ring and said he could do it with full confidence. He told me what he would have to do but that he would take care of it. Let me tell you he did not disappoint!! It took 6 days, because of the request I would give him all the time he needed. They called me the day they said they would; let me know it was finished and when I went to pick it up I was so ecstatic. I could finally wear this ring! No scratches or marks indicating modifications. They also shined it up for me and i couldnt be happier. I will definitely be bringing more repairs to them!

1 /5 E D: Horrible, do not recommend. I left a pendant for re-sizing the bail as the chains clasp did not go through. Paid $200.00 and waited for 1 week. Please see the picture how the job was done. I had to replace the entire bail in the jewelry store in Vernon Hills as nothing else could be done, that costed me additional $400.00 for the new bail and work. Think twice... In response to owners post: when I told the owner that the bail looked horrible (asymmetrical, skewed to the side with visible solder line) and asked what could be done, the owner just shrugged his shoulders. The second picture is the bail done by Jered Jewelry in Vernon Hill, they completed the job on the same day, in the evening. Solid, sturdy, beautiful and worth the money. Again, be aware...

1 /5 Karen R: Jewelry repair there is a joke tried overcharging +$100 for a $20-40$ dollar repair that needed no new material to be added and was 14k gold not “pure” 24k gold, for being in the area for 30 plus years you think they would have a better source of where to get scrap gold to keep costs competitive instead of keeping costumers in the door they like to sit on a chair and keep overhead high and prices high! I literally went to Belvedere Mall and got it done the right way in 20 minutes and watched the man do it properly and the right way. And the funniest thing he said is that he’ll do a free cleaning after like it was a big favor lol I walked 2 shops over to (Kay’s) jewelry and they always do free cleaning not a rare occurrence at all this place is just a joke
