Lisa Andrews It is always such a pleasure to visit this lovely and quaint jewelry store whenever I fly in from Los Angeles. Their customer service is impeccable. For example I had a ring that needed sizing and the owner rushed out to inquire what I needed but it was unfortunate she could not size it as she indicated that she was a month out in repairs. That’s indeed saying something as clearly she is in demand. Despite this she offered a temporary solution and placed a ring guard to keep it in place. I also appreciated the intentional conversation we had with the sales rep who was delightful as well. I ended up buying a beautiful set of silver bracelets that are fun “arm candy” There are a few other pieces I have my eye on and hope to pop back by before I return to LA. Straiths is a great option for high quality jewelry at a magnificent price point. Dr. L

Judy K What a lovely little shop on Main St in Sandwich! So many unique and beautiful things- natural decor, plants, boho, National Parks gear, recycled products, a HUGE selection of Toft Touch soaps, natural fiber products, teas, infusion kits for drinks- the list goes on! To top it off the owner is a very friendly guy who is also a jeweler! They carry some beautiful estate pieces and he can do work to clean, size, etc… All in One beautiful shop with a calming and relaxing vibe. Visit this amazing shop- you’ll be glad you did!

Nicole Minca Edmond and Dawn were absolutely fantastic to work with. My father recently passed away and I had his wedding band and some other gold jewelry. I knew I wanted to make something special out of it for myself. Edmond brought in some rubies for me to look at and we discussed designs. After I figured out exactly what I wanted, I sent him inspiration pictures. He made a mold, cast it with my fathers gold and set the ruby and diamonds all within a few weeks. From start to finish there was great communication and I am beyond thrilled with the result. The price was fair and the work was impeccable. I now have a beautiful and sentimental piece that I can wear and pass down to my daughter. I look forward to working with him again.

I kept some but when I brought other coins in to Decatur Coin & Jewelry, the owner, Bennie Strumpher, was very helpful, informative, so nice and pleasant and I did learn a lot from him. Becky Hutmacher I had a wonderful experience at Andersons yesterday. The owner took time to help me with a broken piece of jewelry and explained to me how to properly care for my crucifix necklace Ive had for over 25 years. He also looked over another piece of jewelry I wasnt sure about and he told me that everything looked good with it. What impressed me the most was how patient and kind he was to my daughter. She is 11 years old and full of questions. He taught her a lot about jewelry in the short time we were there. Did I mention how shiny and pretty everything looks when you walk into their store? Great place! I highly recommend you check it out when youre in downtown Effingham enjoying the small town Christmas atmosphere!
