2 /5 Lisa Obinger: Liz contacted me a few weeks after I moved to Peoria. I had already secured renters and auto insurance, but she offered me quotes through State Farm. The rates were lower than what I was currently paying, so I decided to make the switch. Liz was helpful, friendly, and even assisted me in canceling my existing policies.
Unfortunately, about a week and a half later, Liz reached out to inform me that State Farm had decided they could not insure me as a renter—after she had already helped me cancel my prior renters policy. This left me completely uninsured, with no offer to help resolve the issue or find an alternative solution.
While I appreciated Liz’s initial professionalism, the experience with State Farm—and Adam’s office overall—was disappointing and stressful. Saving a few dollars on car insurance wasn’t worth the hassle, and I regret ever being contacted.
