1 /5 Seymour The Moor: My employer is undoubtedly one of the biggest accounts this bank has. I frequently make deposits here. However, just 2 days ago after depositing $1000.00 for my employer, I turned around and tried to pull money out at the teller window.
Sure I admit I misplaced my ID, but doing an ATM transaction I dont feel it is necessary.
However the major problem is that after going over to the ATM by Jimmy Johns and having it eat a $700.00 withdrawal, I went back in to let them know what happened and the branch manager Shelly pushed me off to wait.
After being given a bad phone number and sitting outside for 30 minutes waiting to speak to a live person, Shelly instantly invited me into her office only to make a call and find out they wished for me to contact my bank.
I have followed up several times with my bank and they havent gotten any update from Wells Fargo.
Whether an ATM or not, this does constitute as theft.
She tried to tell me it would probably take up to 10 days prior to.
For the record, more times than not their ATMs are not able to accept deposits or give out money after branch hours. Also, almost every time Ive come in the branch to make a simple deposit, tellers seem to not know how to use the deposit card my company gives me.
I have called this branch multiple times today and nobody is answering the phone, nor has the branch manager returned my call from hours ago. No wonder this branch is 2 out of 5 stars before this review.
As a former Personal Banker for JP Morgan Chase Bank, let me tell you... You can definitely do better taking your banking business elsewhere.
Update:
As you can see they responded asking me for information.
1. Still no contact back from the branch
2. Makes no sense why they kept asking for my address when clearly not intended to overnight a check.
3. At first their person of contact wasnt going to help me without me giving them my PERSONAL PHYSICAL ADDRESS. I could see if it was to send me a check, however all they would have to do is refund or confirm that they took my money.
4. After pointing out that she was refusing to escalate my complaint without my address in simplest way possible, she escalated to only get an automated response saying it would be ANOTHER 10 DAYS.
LIKE SERIOUSLY JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!
THAT LITTLE 700 DOLLARS ISNT EVEN GIVING YALL A LOT OF INTEREST.
SCREW THE CORNBALL GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. YALL HAVE HAD ALMOST A WEEK TO COUNT THE ATM AND SEE MY COMPLAINT IS VALID.
THE LAST PHOTO POSTED IS THEIR ATM SHOWING IT NO LONGER COULD ACCEPT OR GIVE OUT MONEY AFTER IT ATE MY MONEY. NOW I KNOW WHY THEIR ATMS ALWAYS HAVE THIS MESSAGE, CLEARLY THEY TAKE PEOPLES MONEY OFTEN.
