What Clients Are Saying First National Community Bank (GG)
1 /5 Joshua Blankenship: Terrible bank to have a business account from. Would highly recommend any other bank to do business with. No one has an answer for any type of questions. All staff members seem to ride the clock and not caring about customer service. I cannot tell you how many different people I have spoken with and I have come to find out the company motto must be, " I dont know call someone else." Terrible bank. End of story.
1 /5 Nicole Arnold: Been with this bank since I was a teenager but since they’ve merged with this other bank my account has been screwed up! Double charges, amount showing way over or way under. Paying bills with the amount changing so much as been a pain because it overdrafts, even though I have it set up so it can’t be over drawn. I’ve been afraid to make any purchases due to everything constantly changing. Definitely going somewhere else.
5 /5 Susan Dunn: Have been a customer since they began in 1975. Have never had one problem! Friendly knowledgeable staff with a hometown feel. This bank is always involved with any activities and sponsorships locally.
5 /5 Befera Frank “Tric”: Took special care of me late in the day. I was running late yesterday, had a check to cash, and they waited for me at the drive through. Banking with great care and personal attention is alive and well at FNCB. Highly recommended.
1 /5 Ragan Hayes: I have had a checking account at This banking company for 40 plus years. At one time it was a great bank when it was a Chatsworth banking company. Now that they have merged with other banks, they have become pathetic. Most of the problems I have had have been with the Calhoun, GA location and that is because I work 2 miles from it. The latest chance I gave the people at the bank to prove what stupid and incompetent idiots they are happened on 8/30/24. A co-worker of mine had bought something and he was going to pay me $20. He had gotten a check from the Kubota Corporation where he had overpaid them for some equipment by $25. I told him just to sign the check and I would also sign on the back and take it to the bank and get it cashed. Walked in and told the lady I wanted to cash the check and I gave her my account number to show that I had an account there and she said she couldnt cash it because it wasnt made out to me and the guy it was made out to wasnt there with me. I told her he had signed the back and I had also signed the back and she said it didnt matter. I ask her after 40 years with an account at the bank why it is suddenly a problem and she just said she couldnt cash it. She asked me to talk to another idiot in an office and I explained all that to her again and get the same answer. I told her to give me the check and I would go to Chatsworth tomorrow and get it cashed with no questions asked. She finally said she would cash it. I told the idiot if it was for $2500 I may could understand the problem but after banking with them for over 40 years I was not trying to rip them off for $25. There is no limit on their stupidity. The stupid policies probably come from their stupid management. That is the same stupid managers that made the stupid loans 15 years ago that put a hurt on the bank when the people defaulted on the loans. That is probably the reason I go in there almost every week and there are never any customers. A large building with 3 employees, about 20 offices and no customers. I am not at all surprised. I have had an account at Lockheed Federal Credit Union for about 15 years and I cant wait until they start doing transactions in the spring. At that point the First National Community Bank and the pathetic employees wont have to deal with me anymore. I will close the account after 40 plus years. I will urge all of you to open an account at a credit union.
Nia Day Bridgeway is doing a great job with migrating over from Member’s United Credit Union. Like many companies they’re working on becoming updated with certain systems/technology. The staff is the best part of the company. I can always call and get my issues resolved in a timely manner. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing what’s in store for current and new members.
Dee Dee Thompson If you’re looking for a bank where you’re more than just an account number, Colony Bank is it. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile and Southern hospitality. The staff knows their customers by name and takes the time to answer questions, explain options, and make sure you’re taken care if.
Troy Farren This is a wonderful thrift store. It is very well organized and easy to find things. They have limited hours of only 10am to 12:45pm Tuesday through Friday, but well worth coming at this time. They also have a pantry for those needing some food. However there is no public restrooms.
