2 /5 Gina Lopez: Once I receive my discharged court documents I will reconsider my rating. Ms. Jessie was professional and helped where she could. Ms. Stacey, in the same way, the time was taken to call me concerning this matter, it would have been likewise appreciated to have received a call of reminder regarding my delinquency. I believe correspondence was sent to me but I never gof to them due to a personal crisis. . I’m on disability and recuperating from surgery. However, I am taking this time to respond despite this ailment. I fell behind a few months on my loan payments due to my husband’s knee injury that set us back considerably. During the course of this time he was not receiving wages. My intention was already to pay off this loan which was approximately $1500. My relatives up North Georgia have spoken well about First Franklin Financial. Consequently, I have seen first hand standing next to them good treatment despite their own delinquency which was out of their control and in their case handled years later. My complaint is that on a Sunday, the SHERIFF came to my house announcing my name. He was cordial about it and served me the court claims documents. I couldn’t believe that happened? He made it a point to explain to me to make sure after, I satisfy the claims with First Franklin Financial to have them discharge to orders from the court. I could have had guests in my home at the time. This was humiliating to say the least. It so happens, I just received the funds the day prior to satisfy the balance in its entirety. I was already planning to that upcoming week to actually pay the whole balance loan off in person . I was waiting for the funds to appear in my checking account. I have physical mobility issues and we are a one car household for now. I simply wanted to handle this in person. When I opened the Sheriff’s mail handed to me, there were now hundreds of dollars compounded to the amount already owed between court filing fees, interest fees and late charges. I was distraught. We don’t have extra funds laying around like that. The next day, I called and spoke to someone there at First Franklin Financial confirming that I received the court documents. That same day, I received another letter in the mail from Manager Stacey demanding the full loan to be paid off IMMEDIATELY. It’s a good thing, we had the funds and weee already determined to handle this before all the commotion. I explained to the young woman who answered the phone, I will be there later on today or tomorrow. I was waiting on the car. I ended up going to the office the now having to have more funds to handle all those incredible extra fees in the now $2000’s. By the time, I returned home there was letter from you demanding total payment immediately. I remorselessly apologize for my delinquency for sure but I am not a crook or had any intentions of skipping town with your loan. I could never and will never recommend your establishment. I am glad for anyone’s good experience with your establishment but unfortunately, this is not my experience whatsoever. I have a loan with Regional Finance in Macon and I have a few months to go to pay off their loan and their treatment with me has been quite the opposite. You got your loan paid back now please leave me alone. Once, I receive the documents concerning the satisfaction of payment, I may consider this review. The review is not to satisfy your pride. The review is based on my experience to make customers aware truthfully the advantages and disadvantages based on my experience with this agency. Thank you for your time.
