SGMC Patient Financial Services - Valdosta (GA)

Rick I have been a Country Companies/ Country Financial customer since I was 16, and Im now 64. Ten years ago we moved here from Illinois and Byron Brock and staff have been phenomenal, to say the least. Ive shopped around and no one has beaten prices on home owners, vehicles, boats, motorcycles etc. During tropical storm Irma we suffered damage and we were well taken care of immediately! I had paint damage on one of my trucks and the entire truck was repainted, shop of MY choice, with a lifetime warranty. Anything weve questioned or asked, weve been VERY well attended to. Terry Lewis i am currently a customer with truist in griffin as of right now 11/19/24 but thats going to change,they have ripped me off on a transaction that was taken from my account by them,i went into the branch,talked with Alyssa their about the transaction,she agreed they made a mistake,she called their fraud department,she talked with the lady on phone,lady said it would be 2 days to know something,i came back to the branch talked to Alyssa again,she said this time i needed to call them,so i did,they tell me they denied claim, i ask to talk to mgr,next day mgr called me,very nice lady want to add,i explain everything to her,she also agreed they took out payment to much,she said she will look into it,she called me back later that evening,told me she was still working on it,that she would call me next day,and i never heard from her again,so basicly,they ripped me off!! even when the mgr from that department and from the branch also agreed they shouldnt had taken money out of my account,sorry this is long,but everyone beware,do not bank with this place,they are crooks!!

Critical Reviewer The atmosphere is wonderful. Greeted by multiple employees. I feel relaxed with the interactions. Nothing shoved in my face to get. They were good indeed and helped me maximize my loan to be within my budget as well as doing there best to see if my payments are on the dates I get paid. The experience I feel coming here makes them feel like we are family. Even though its a business I feel like I just borrowed money from a family member and paying them back. It gives you that home feeling. I waited to write my review, but I wish Id have done it sooner. They all were the same every time. Good people are hard to find. Every time you come in there are decorations all over for each Holiday.
