5 /5 Jacob Rock: I cannot recommend Mr. Brill highly enough! Words dont exist to describe how grateful I am. I was backed into a bad situation and got the short end of the law because, lets face it, the system is broken and not fair or accurate. My public defender scared me into taking a bad deal because I was uninformed, in a rush, and broke at the time. A year later I was expecting a decent tax return but not big enough to spend it all willy nilly. As a veteran Ive learned to be very thorough with everything I do but as a single father Ive learned to be smart with my money. This resulted in me speaking to, no exaggeration, 17 different criminal defense attorneys about taking my case to terminate my probation. Mr. Brill is the only one who was willing to ask me questions to help figure out what reasons to present to the judge to convince her to terminate it early! I was being supervised by a different county and there was a plethora of communication issues between the two counties about the terms of my probation and their completion. I was fortunate enough to document and get proof of all conversations I had that showed I did what I was supposed to do and it was an error on their end. Mr. Brill was more upset about the probation clerical error than I was, and thats saying something! Not once did he make me feel like I was just some criminal, he understood that sometimes good people end up a victim of circumstances and poor law enforcement policies. He was very well spoken in front of the judge, very stern and assertive but in a respectful and professional way. He was kind, informed, and easy to talk to. Today I was granted early termination of my probation and I can finally move on with my life and get back on track to provide the life that my son deserves and I have no doubt that would not be the case if I chose anyone other than Mr. Brill! If you have any doubts in your mind, or if youre just starting to look. Call Mr. Brill, save yourself the time and the anxiety! Although I hope to never need his services again, if somehow I do, hes the only one Id call!
