My fiancee had discovered this place while trying to get information about an engagement ring last year. Brett talked him through options, was very honest, and super helpful. So of course as we were searching for a place to purchase a wedding band, Decatur City Jewelers was our first choice. Brett gave us an honest perspective on what would be the best choice for my engagement ring. We were looking at a couple bands, and then he said he had a cool one in the back and came out with the perfect ring. He gave us a great price and it was literally such a simple process. He also cleaned my engagement ring and told us more about the history of the ring. It was so cool. And then my fiancee needed his grandfathers wedding band sized to his finger. Brett let us watch the whole process which was super interesting! He was honest about this process and what could happen, and it did end up breaking. However, Brett got in there and fixed it right up. You cant even tell! It looks perfect and even fits his hard-to-size finger. I am so happy we came here instead of some chain jewelry store. I didnt feel like I was being tricked or scammed here. It was a friendly environment. It is obvious that Brett knows what hes doing and he was kind and informative throughout the process.

He helped us through the the entire process and was patient and supportive as I took my time deciding what I wanted. He gave us really great design recommendations and we ended up with a gorgeous ring at a great price. I would highly recommend Brett for your custom jewelry work. My fiancee and I approached Brett Weiler for a special commission: we wanted replicas of my parents wedding rings for our own wedding. While Brett has access to a small but impressive number of pieces in his store, I believe that he is best suited for providing custom jewelry pieces like these. After examining the originals, Brett was able to sift through his impressive network of craftsmen, cultivated through the years, and pick out exactly the right person to create our custom rings. The results were stunning: exactly what we had wanted. The agreed upon price was fair, and Brett worked with us throughout the process to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted with a good understanding of what that would cost. I would highly recommend Brett for all of ones jewelry needs, especially if one is interested in custom jewelry. He is a dedicated, upstanding, and highly capable artisan and businessman.

5 /5 Elizabeth Day: Thanks to Decatur City Jewelers, I now have the most beautiful ring Ive ever seen. Brett is an incredibly knowledgeable jeweler and gives straightforward, honest advice. His pricing is the best I have seen in any brick and mortar store (and most ecommerce sites) and he respects budgets without up-selling. Unlike other jewelry stores, there isnt any pressure and there are no pushy salespeople. He offers an incredible selection of diamonds and settings, and if you dont see what you want there ask and he can make it happen for you. If you are shopping for an engagement ring or any other piece of jewelry, I highly recommend Decatur City Jewelers. Well be back soon for our wedding bands! Also, as some reviewers didnt understand this concept I have to add: Dont go here or to any other jewelry store looking for a free ring sizing for a ring youve just purchased elsewhere. Thats just rude. Only come here if you actually want to look at jewelry.
