1 /5 Unknown: My experience at this school has been extremely disappointing. From the beginning, I encountered a complete lack of support and guidance. Whenever I had questions or concerns, the responses were often “I’m not sure”, “I don’t know”,or “Someone else will have to help with this” leaving me to navigate issues on my own. I was frequently passed around to different staff members, none of whom were equipped to assist me effectively, and I never received support from a dedicated student advisor. Compounding these issues, my financial aid was denied 3-4 days before the deadline on two separate occasions due to errors on their part. Despite my efforts to ensure everything was in order WEEKS in advance, I was told that nothing could be done about the mistake. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. The one class I was able to take lacked proper instruction from the professor, forcing me to rely on self-teaching and external resources. Given the $750 out-of-pocket expense, this was not worth the price. I strongly advise against enrolling at this institution. Save your time, money, and sanity.

2 /5 Ethan Cox: My experience with Coastal Pines Technical College - Waycross (Main Campus) has been less than satisfactory, to say the least. As a former dual enrollment student and now a current college student, Ive encountered numerous challenges and frustrations that have overshadowed any positive aspects of my time at the college. One of the most glaring issues Ive faced is the lack of support and guidance from both professors and college staff. Throughout my dual enrollment courses, I found myself struggling to comprehend the material due to poor instruction and inadequate resources. Instead of receiving assistance from professors, I often resorted to self-teaching using online resources like YouTube videos and Khan Academy. Furthermore, my attempts to seek opportunities and resolve administrative issues at the college have been met with indifference and unresponsiveness. Despite multiple attempts to contact staff via phone and email, I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution to my concerns, including the inability to access my account and obtain an unofficial transcript. Unfortunately, it appears that my sister, who is also enrolled in classes at the college, has encountered similar difficulties, indicating that these issues may be systemic rather than isolated incidents. While I acknowledge that some individuals may have had positive experiences at Coastal Pines Technical College - Waycross, I cannot overlook the significant shortcomings that have characterized my own experience. Until meaningful changes are made to address these issues, I cannot in good conscience recommend this college to others.

5 /5 kathryn: Very happy with the LPN program here. I went to the Golden Isles campus. But took a few prerequisite and online classes here as well. Small class room sizes, teachers actually care if you show up and want you to succeed. I attended a previous school and in comparison this LPN program really breaks down concepts and you get so much clinical time, it’s nice to connect and see physically what you read about in the book & get hands on. Also Mrs. Teresa Henry.. best instructor. She pushes you yet encourages and believes in you. I could rave all day, money well spent at this school!
