Elbert County Tax Commissioner - Elberton (GA)

1 /5 Camper Joey (Joey): Drove 1 hour to pay tax just to arrive at 12 and see a sign saying closed 1 hr for lunch. Had to wait another 1 hour for them to come back.

5 /5 Kenneth Kaftan: This office does not determine what the tax will be but they just collect it If you call during the lunch break then the call wont be answered. They have a vast knowledge of GA rules and regs about vehicle registrations and property tax rates. If you think your taxes are too high complain to the county commissioners, not them. If you think your taxes are too high check what they are in other states or areas in GA. Stop complaining just be happy we have such dedicated professionals!!!!

5 /5 Kim Davis: Polite and prompt. I have never had the problems with them not answering the phone that people report and have often had the ladies here help me out or be extra patient whilst I get my stuff together!

1 /5 Steffy Rogers: Id tell you if they were nice or not, if theyd ever answer their phone. Tried literally like 30 times today - never got an answer. Some people have to work and cant just go by there.
