1 /5 Alan Bevill: Of all the banks iv ever used, Citizens Bank has got to be the one with the most obnoxious a-holes Ive ever seen. I used them for nearly 20 years before their true colors came out. I think they must have hired all the crooks from the old Spivey Bank that closed down. Call them with s problem, you better have all day to spend on hold, or to get the run around and finally told, "Im not the one you need to talk to". Run around after run around, never giving a straight answer and never taking in to account your time of service with their crooks.
I recently had a check show up at the bank that had been duplicates somehow. Citizens Bank not only cashed it the second time, but they also dunned my account $35 for non-sufficient funds. After speaking with them, they admitted it was their fault the check was cashed. They even apologized for the inconvenience. However, they refused to return the money they had obviously stolen by not returning it after excepting responsibility for the error.
Stay away from these crooks if youre smart....
PS. Their debit cards also have too many restrictions if you are an on-line shopper. They are NOT insured by the card issuer ie Visa, MasterCard, etc.... they somewhat help if theres a problem, but they make no guarantees on there debit card usage, or any fraud that make result from such use.
Way too many problems trying to do business with these folks. Took me 20 years to learn. Hope you learn from my mistake. Find another bank if youre in Swainsboro, Ga.
