The Southern Bank - Gibson (GA)

Patricia Burgess Yesterday, I visited this bank for a small matter. I have been a customer here for quite some time and was not surprised at the cordial greeting I received. Every time I have had occasion to visit this bank has been the same: employees are friendly and professional about every detail of the transaction. My experience at the drive thru, inside teller, by phone, and by mail has been outstanding. With pride I recommend this bank to friends and family. Doing business here is a pleasure.

Allison Yancey I have been out of work for awhile and needed to find something to offset my living expenses, so I found a job. In desperation I reached out to Action in Monroe and spoke with Candi. She told me they have a program that helps women with clothing going into the workplace again. Candi was very supportive, non judgmental and extremely helpful with helping get new clothes and shoes to make my transition back to work a successful one!! Thank you so much Candi and Action in Monroe! You guys are awesome!!

Marcia Calabro I spoke with Larry Irwin today, secured a policy, and could not have had a more pleasurable experience! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, caring, made me feel like I was his only client!! So pleased with him

Kirkland I went here as project grad student. Its the most amazing campus Ive ever been on. The dorms are unique, the entire campus is just amazing. Its peaceful. Oglethorpe University is amazing.

Damien Bridges Im currently inquiring into a loan with these guys, so far the website and loan process is not as great as other sites, I was approved so well see what financing they come up with. I have personal finance experience so Ill be back to update this review once the application process is completed and give you guys the rundown on what youll be getting into with OneMain. Reviews may or may not raise or lower. Update 1: So far Ive contacted the branch with no response, their phone lines do not seem to be actually set up to ring, instead they just forward to a voice-mail system. They dont coordinate callbacks very well it seems either. So far pretty frustrating. Will be updating once I receive a call back. Final update: So I called in, turns out their phones are actually in location as it states which is wonderful, I just have bad timing myself it seems. Got in touch with someone, they unfortunately did not lower the APR of the loan but instead of 36 months Ive been given, which in the long run Im spending more, but its a lower monthly payment. They were very efficient and timely in explaining all of the details and even offered me a higher loan which I declined just for my own wallets well-being. Wonderful staff, super friendly and I got the money the next day in my bank I provided. Overall great experience, a few issues but nothing is perfect, as far as business and professionalism they were wonderful. I think some of the comments on here with lower reviews might have something to do with people who cannot manage their money/payments and fall behind. Do understand they ARE a loan company, they do have an obligation to hold up their part but as well as to make sure you follow up on yours.
