1 /5 Jen W.: Maybe I just dont understand how house insurance works, but they constantly want us to fix things that are irrelevant (handrails for steps out of a door we cant even and do not use) while telling us they cant do anything about the repairs we really need (roof, furnace, etc.). So our focus cant be on major repairs bc insurance focuses on and penalizes us for the little things. We can barely afford the little things as it is. Insurance feels like the biggest scam.
