I hope all the words from me to give guild, idea and expression about the service from this agent and his team. Please do homework, be smart and be wise before you want to do any business with this agent and his team. I got a quote from this agent and bought the insurance to my family-owned company. I was told I need to pay at least $100 to get the insurance to be active and effective after I had paid for a insurance. I was unhappy by this dishonest activity and unprofessional endeavor, so I called the agent who gave me the quote and helped me on the purchase. The agent told me a quote is just a quote which does not mean anything. I have to pay extra to get this policy to be of protection on my company. I paid the extra to this office because I already did business with this office and spent my time on it. The total amount I paid was much higher than other offers from different insurance companies offered to me. The first encounter with this agent was in 2017. The agent and his office was trying to play the same game for the year of 2018. They wanted to add more extra on the amount I paid in 2017. I was annoyed, shamed and shocked by the trick. I called this agent office, canceled this insurance policy, and asked them to return the balance for this policy in March, 2018. I had been contacting this office several times for the refund. Every time they told me they are going to contact me for the refund. I did not receive any phone calls and no mention of the refund. Please call me or refund me. I hope I shared my experience with this agent office here to give other potential customers alert and head-up. If you really need an insurance for your properties or companies, please be wise before you have any connection with this agent or the office.

1 /5 Heidi Strater: purchased home insurance last year. I set up a payment plan. I called this month to find out how to renew the insurance .I was told by my agent Erin Frederick that the plan had been cancelled in March for lack of payment. She went on to say that a cancellation notice was sent to me and they never heard back. I do understand that it is MY responsibility to make sure the bill is paid I would expect that an agent might make a call or leave a message that they didnt receive payment. I searched my email and never received a cancelation notice. I did receive many emails advertising their services and thanking me for being a customer. (I guess they also didnt know I was no longer a customer.)I never received a letter in the mail. Erin did ask if I wanted to pay for another policy for the coming year. I would have to pay the balance in full since my records show a lapse in coverage. Ummmm no thanks . I do understand that they probably didnt make a lot of money with my patronage but maybe someone will read this and decide they better go with another agency.

3 /5 Jill Bischoff: I have been a Progressive customer for a few years. The Walter Agency staff, especially Ken Smith, who has been terrific to work with. Ken can help with all your questions. He answers email and phone calls promptly, and is always cheerful and professional. Progressive has been great as well, offering "credits" during COVID-19. Progressives website is great and can handle most routine issues. When the web-site doesnt work for me, Ken does! **11/24 update. Ken is no longer employed by the Walter Agency, and I tend to hold a grudge when people are treated poorly by their employers. I have moved my home and auto to McGriff progressive with very good results there.

1 /5 L Woods: This company used to be amazing. I have waited over a year to write a review to give them the benefit of the doubt. Since they have changed out ALL of the previous friendly and helpful staff to a new staff that is completely rude, condescending, and act like its a complete burden to help with anything regarding your policy. I have had a policy through them for over 5 years and I will never go back once it expires. I have lost hundreds of dollars and many hours on the telephone trying to get issues resolved that they shouldve been doing. Dont expect them to do anything but collect your money. I am a college student and a full time professional and was talked to with complete disrespect. If you value your time and money dont do it. I would have left less stars if I could.

1 /5 Kathy N: Went to help my Mom pick up an item she left in a rental next door. Thought to look into Progressive while I waited. Walter Rubiera came out gave me his card. Refused to give me any literature on current rates and was rude. Pulled out in street, my mom jumped in and asked how it went. I told her what happened. She is at home canceling her Progressive policy and I am staying with All-State. Who needs an agent that assumes. You know what they say about assuming?
