1 /5 Robert Pauley: Do not go with this company, as a teacher in Osceola County, they assisted with our retirements and I find out they stopped managing our accounts through Horace Man, like wow, no email, no letter then was like over a year ago and no one knew. How many teacher signed up with Leon with his free lunches at school then dumped, his phone doesn’t work, I have left emails and calls and never heard from them, no call back no email back, embarrassing. If you are a teacher in Osceola County and you have retirement accounts with them, well they haven’t been in control for over a year! But no call back or respond on email is ridiculous, go with someone else…good luck Coach Pauley

5 /5 Manuel Castillo: Awhile back I decided to switch from another local insurance company to Horace Mann (mainly because my close friend had been working with them for years). I was a bit nervous about the switch at first because I had thought that Horace Mann was just a insurance company for educators. Since I had never worked at a school, I thought that I might not be accurately represented, but my friend assured me that was not the case, so I made the switch. Now, I am so grateful that I did because I have been with them for a solid 3 years now and I would not have had it any other way. Their customer service is beyond exceptional, especially with the amount of agents they have, they are like a well oiled machine the way they work, it is incredible. Unlike the last insurance company I worked with, the people working at Horace Mann truly care about you as a person, and have always been transparent about whats happening with claims and what to expect. Not only that but my insurance coverage is up there with the best. I definitely pay less than anyone I know thanks to the exceptional work done by my agent Christina Johnson and the company as a whole. When Florida got hit by hurricane Matthew back in 2016, I had no power for 2 weeks (thanks to duke energy) but unlike a whole bunch of other insurance companies in my area, Horace Mann was open and thankfully enough, they helped me file my insurance claims and those in-turn, helped me repair the damage done to my house and car. For that, I can not thank them enough. All-in-all, I recommend Horace Mann wholeheartedly and am so glad that they are the ones who will always have my back whenever times get tough.

1 /5 Holly Fenicle: Terrible customer service!!! This agency stopped representing my current insurance company Olympus however they never informed me of this so my home owners policy was just canceled. I called their office 3 times and no one responded. The decision to stop using Olympus is why I now have no homeowners insurance but they didn’t care enough to explain this situation to me and help me find another homeowners insurance policy. Not responding to my numerous calls is totally unacceptable. I will NOT be using this insurance agency ever again and I would NOT recommend anyone else to use them either.

Theyre very friendly, professional so very helpful, when they get done explaining your coverage, theres hardly anything that you have to ask them. If you do have a question, youll get a correct answer. Best of all theyve always give me the best policy,for the best price.

I would be lost trying to search by myself. Very community oriented business, serving the students of our schools and giving selflessly.
