2 /5 Lakewood Stewart: Our first visit to Tiffany was to exchange a product with a manufacturing defect. Per the advisor’s recommendation, we ordered the replacement to the store for pickup.
We arrived on Sunday at 6:30 PM to collect the order. At that time, the staff was locking the doors and letting the last customer out, but they refused to let us pick up our item — even though the Mall at Millenia’s website lists closing at 7:00 PM.
For a $200 set of two wine glasses, I would have expected an exception for a quick pickup, especially considering this is the closest Tiffany store to us. We drove nearly 45 minutes each way and left empty-handed.
To make matters worse, I will be out of town for the next week, which puts us past the 30-day pickup window. Now I’m concerned the order could be cancelled entirely, despite the delay being caused by the store turning us away before posted closing hours.
This experience was disappointing and not what I expected from a brand with Tiffany’s reputation.
