1 /5 Bebe Thomas: I was given a 2ct diamond pendant from my grandmother. It was made from her wedding rung. A few years ago I took to Simmons b/c I wanted to have it put in a ring on a wide gold band that I purchased there at the same time. It was a beautiful stone with the best clarity. It took them shout two weeks. Id purchased jewelry from them several times before. I picked the up and they distracted me by talking. The fit and style was perfect. I went wrong by not asking them to get the stone checker so I could be sure they didnt do what they did. What they did was stole my beautiful stone and put a fake stone in the setting. I didnt know it until like a year or so later when I had it cleaned at Zales. The man that cleaned it for me said to me this is a nice ring but did you know that the stone is not real? I almost hit the floor. I trusted Simmons and it wasnt like they were poor people. I was very upset and wished I had it checked when I picked it up. I wouldve called the police and waited right inside the store for them. Stay away from them crooks. I hope they see this post and and say whatever they want to but, yes this is what they dud and I never stepped foot back in their store. They are on Park Avenue stealing peoples stone for their gain. I wouldve put them on blast and have the news teams there to really put it out there for all to see. That was really messed up and foul. I will never recommend anyone to go there b/c they are most likely still doing it and thats probably why theyre still in business- stealing stones and sell them for big bucks. The crooks still owe me and should make it right after all this time.

5 /5 syn: Simmons has been a winter park staple for years and I was sad to hear that they have been forced out of their old location. But the good news is they are right down the street in the old Taylors Pharmacy. I brought in my grandfathers watch today that I recently received to have it resized for my wrist. They did an excellent job, it was very fast and I was out the door, they didnt even charge me. Next time Im in the market for a watch Ill be sure to visit Simmons. They have a great selection of time pieces.

5 /5 K F: My husband bought my engagement ring here years ago and I always drop in when I can - and I always fall in love with something. My latest find was this art deco style ring. They also fixed a loose setting on one of the rings I was wearing. It had been bugging me for months and it only took them a few minutes to fix. I wish I lived closer, this is a must visit in Winter Park. They have great customer service and wonderfully unique vintage jewelry.

5 /5 Michael Lowe: I went to get my chain fixed and the customer service was 10/10 . They were very welcoming and kind and even had my chain fixed within a couple hours of me dropping it off .

1 /5 Karen Benson Gremp: I rarely give bad reviews, but if I could give them a Negative 5 star rating I would!! Simmons Jewelers is a horrible jewelry store!! They took forever to restring my freshwater pearl & citrine necklace and I actually lost 12" of the necklace, because the woman they contracted to do the work didnt follow the pattern, left strings hanging and apparently lost some of the citrine and pearls. It doesnt even look like the same necklace! They also quoted me that itd be around $100. and then charged me $441. when I picked up the necklaces, after never being called, 6 weeks later. Also, the other Peridot necklace wont lay flat and wasnt cleaned. The work is inferior, and they didnt honor their verbal quote (which is a binding contract)! Everything about this experience has been awful!! Very dishonest bordering on fraud in my book, because they knew it was going to be a lot more than $100 and never called to ask or get my authorization to do the work for $341. MORE than quoted. Plus, they doubled the price the Pearl re-stringer charged them! I do not recommend Simmons Jewelers and would not take anything of value there to be repaired!! Photos are of the bad work. First necklace shows original length much longer and more elegant and the second photo shows the loss of 12" and how bunchy and ugly it is now! The other photos show the flaws and shoddy work.
