1 /5 Amy Phillips: When I first connected with Joe, the experience and communication was top notch. We are on our third home owners renewal with his company and we’ve been put in a position to where we’ve had to move to a new agent, due to his lack of communication. Early January I received my March renewal and started engaging about shopping the policy or adjusting our coverage (coverage came back nearly 200k over what other agents quoted us). I was trying to be proactive about making adjustments to our policy before the check left my escrow account and all contact attempts failed. Now that I have a new policy in place with a new agent (second escrow check cut) I’ve not been able to get ahold of Joe or anyone operating the general email box for his agency to process my policy cancellation. I’m on my third attempt to cancel and engaged SageSure, who then instructed me only the agent can cancel my policy. At a total loss of how to cut ties and get our refund for a policy I never agreed to renew.

1 /5 Tim Osby: I have 4 houses on the beach. I found Joe and was trying to have him source insurance for all 4 houses. He started working on them then went MIA for several weeks - I texted, emailed, called. Finally, I got a hold of him and he said his computer had a problem and it took him that long to get it repaired (could have let me know). Anyway, we worked on them for another few weeks as all were expiring and then... disappeared again for several weeks. The first time I was worried that it may be something medical related so had much patience. This time, who knows, I still havent heard from him after weeks. Anyway, all of my insurances have expired at this point and I have to start over and find a reliable broker. For reference, Ive written just a couple of reviews in my life and likely never a bad one but this guy the cake. Totally flake.

1 /5 Mark Bailey: Zero communication. I received a notification that my auto/home insurance was increasing by $3K dollars a year. I called and talked to Joe about why, and he was going to look into it. He never called me back. I eventually went with a different insurance company for auto. I canceled my auto insurance with Joe in an email and, for some unknown reason, my home insurance was canceled too. He never called to discuss. He never offered to review my coverage. This left me scrambling to get my home covered. I eventually got re-insured through a different carrier. This left me uninsured for 11 days and my mortgage company charged me $191 for coverage during that time. The whole things was a nightmare.

5 /5 Michele Klemm: Leslie Singleton is a great asset to Nelson Insurance Agency! She goes above and beyond to assist you to make sure that you have the right Home Owners Coverage. All of my concerns and questions were answered immediately. I didnt have to wait for days for a return call or email. Leslie provides excellent customer service and great communication skills. I highly recommend calling and speaking with Leslie if you are looking for a quote for Home Owners Insurance!

1 /5 Thomas White: Communication was horrible this guy sent me a quote and when I reached out him to try to bind the contract on multiple different occasions. He told me hed called me right back. He was busy. Never called me back. Long story short, I waited for roughly a week and a half. Maybe two weeks. Trying to get him to send me the documents to bind to the contract. I waited up until the last 2 hours the final day before insurance was going to have a lapse in coverage. I still never heard from this guy. Finally, I just decided to go with a different company. I will never reach out to this guy for insurance again
