1 /5 Lori Auxier: This is strictly based on our interaction with mariner finance, and based on my own personal opinion. We paid off an account with mariner finance after we learned that they had placed a secondary lien on our vehicle. They assured us that this would take three days to resolve. After 10 days, we contacted them back because it was still showing in the national database that the lien had not been cleared. They told us it would take another 10 days to clear at the national level. When I contacted our local DMV, they told me that that is the same system that they use and according to them, there was no secondary lien on the car, So it made absolutely no sense that we were told about this national level. We were attempting to sell the car and could not do so without Mariner helping us resolve this. I had to get the Florida DMV involved because the staff at mariner was very rude and condescending about helping us correct this matter. Once the Florida DMV got involved, suddenly mariner corrected the issue immediately. The staff at the Boynton Beach was not helpful, and again, very rude and condescending when we called to get help. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.
