Ellen Jakovich I attended a webinar on annuities with Carlos Dias and ended up scheduling a phone call with Carlos because it seemed he could identify if the annuity Id purchased 2 years ago was a bum deal or not. After 30 minutes with Carlos, not only did I have a clearer picture of my annuity (it was not wonderful, but it wasnt a scam either), but he also identified a no-penalty exit strategy to gradually draw down the principle starting immediately. I didnt have to wait the 8 years until it matured to convert it into my Roth!
