1 /5 Roberta Robbins: Are clothes that shrink defective if the warning is not on the tag? I think so. I purchased 3 pair of slacks. 2 different fabrics. After washing 1 pair, the length shrunk. I took them back to the store to return. I was honest and explained why I was returning them. I was honest and told them that I had washed the slacks and they shrunk. DON"T EVER SAY YOU WASHED THEM! The manager was rude. She refused to take them back. I called corporate and they said it was too bad they were washed. I asked her how I was to know they would shrink after washing. As a consumer, she understood, but policy is not to take back anything that was washed. Regardless of them shrinking. I am so disappointed in JCPenney. They do not stand behind their products. I will never shop there again. Thank you for your response, however, I already called Customer support as stated in my review. No point in calling again.

5 /5 Evana Marie Peters: JC Penney is the best department store in Tallahassee. It has great merchandise but doesnt overcharge like Dillards does
