1 /5 Newbeing Queen: April of 2021, Changes to my policy was made, and personal questions were asked about who lives in my home without me knowing or being present. Once I spoke with someone, I was told if my son works out of town for two weeks, by law, he lives there and he is to report where he now lives to the insurance company. Now he worked almost 2 months at this point, and he was told he needed to change his address from my house because he temporarily lives out of town. I have been with this insurance company over 20 years and we have never had anyone to question who lives in my home. I never knew that the people taking your money is suppose to ask personal questions, and why is it a concern to them? My son went to get a copy of his insurance card, and he was asked where he lives. Why does this matter to the receptionist? Someone tell me. He was told if he works out of town, then he needed to report that to the insurance company and he needed his address changed. I asked why does he have to change his address when hes working out of town, his property is to my house and that job is temporary. So yes, he will be staying there for 2 to 3 months then they relocate. Mind you, he car pools. So, does he have to report to his insurance company every.... single....time.... he relocates so they can make adjustments and changes to the insurance on the car? Someone help me. If I am moved from this insurance company it is because I feel in my spirit we are being mishandled and they think they are right for prowling in my business behind my back and making changes to my policy with out informing me.
Now I got charged almost $200, for my son being added on my account for approximately 2 weeks for the new car, he was told to put a down payment of about $150, for some odd reason, pay the $40, membership fee, as well as pay me for $120, for his other vehicle being on my account. So, if they took the downpayment from him for the new car, WHY WAS IT TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AS WELL? Can someone tell me if any of this is legal?
