1 /5 Joketra Horne: This actually deserves a zero rating. I took my necklace to be soldered and was told that it may be ready that day but definitely the next day. I asked what were the hours and was told 12-6 (which are different from mall hours). I paid for the repair and she wrote on my receipt; said she would write it on her ticket and sent a text verifying payment. I stopped by the next day shortly after 12:00 since I was originally told it would be done the same day. She asked for my ticket but I misplaced it so she asked for my license, then said it wasnt done but would be done after 2:00pm. I gave it a few hours after and came shortly after 5:00 only to see a gentleman closing up. I immediately said it isnt 6:00pm and I was told that my necklace would be done. He asked for my ticket but per the aforementioned, I didnt have it but gave my license. He had trouble finding it and preceded to call her (he said he was her son). He called her and she told him where to find it. I said thank you and he said youll have to pay. I said, Ive already paid and I said ask her. He did and he said she said you didnt pay and asked if I could talk to her and held out my hand for the phone. He immediately said dont you snatch my phone and I said excuse me, I was not about to snatch your phone and was immediately disgusted at this point because she said she was going to write it on her receipt and this was just yesterday. He puts her on speaker and she hears our exchange and ask him if everything is okay and he says, yes because Ill call security. So at this point, Im thinking why would you need to call security. So I tell her that I paid and she wrote it on my receipt and instead of dealing with me she says to him do you need ME to call Security. Im thinking why would you as the business owner not deescalate the situation instead of heighten it? Im trying to deal with the fact that you were closing early (no decency to call and say, that I told you to come back but were closing early); calling me a liar and basically accusing me of stealing. I quote what I thought was the amount and her son immediately says thats not the total. She then says do you have your text receipt. I find it and tell them that they owe me an apology. He responds with sarcasm of course and I walk away. The person that I had on the other end hears the exchange and is livid because it didnt have to go that far with the accusations. Such an unfortunate occurrence and poor display of professionalism. I would not recommend this business to anyone and hope that they mall looks into her hours of operation because they are not in line with theirs.
