5 /5 Scott Spencer: I brought it in along with the wedding band and they set the diamond beautifully, fused the rings together with a bridge and resized it for a price that was way under what I expected. Great experience and we won’t have to go anywhere else for our jewelry needs. Shoutout to Angie, she was really great!

2 /5 Laurel Beck: I would only recommend Yarnal for new purchases and simple repairs. The owners just announced they are retiring and there was a bit of confusion over what services they could provide. After some miscommunication over a design earlier this month, we settled on a resize of my wedding ring, which they ultimately couldn’t do. It cost me extra time and money. They are friendly, and I do wish the Yarnal family a happy retirement. However, if you want jewelry design or even moderate repair, then this is not the place for you. There are other options in Castro Valley that will serve you better.

5 /5 Monica: I noticed the center stone on my set was loose and needed repair. After doing exhaustive research online and looking at recommendations from local groups I settled on Yarnal. My wedding set was inherited from my grandmother so it is very sentimental and Im extremely protective of it. My husband and I were greeted by Angie and Claire and they immediately made me feel at ease about the ring repair and ensured me they do repairs on site with their master goldsmith and that it would be well taken care of. Angie took a look at my ring and showed me what the issue was and a few other repairs that needed to be done to ensure some of the smaller stones wouldnt fall out. I went ahead with the original repair as well as Angies recommendations, and with the additional fixes the cost was about half of what I thought it would be. My ring was fixed quickly and looks perfect. Thank you to Yarnal Jewelers for taking care of this irreplaceable piece of jewelry and family history. I would 100% recommend Yarnal for any repairs. The owner, Sherry, also came out and spoke with us, asked how we heard about the store and was very kind.

5 /5 Catrina: I am beyond satisfied with Yarnal Jewelers. I needed the prongs on my wedding ring redone. Just speaking with them on the phone I felt more at ease leaving my ring with them. I went into the store and it was secure and they take pictures of your pieces when you drop it off. The work they did is amazing and the turn around was quick, less than 24 hrs.

Plus, they always have custom pieces and a lot of rare gemstones that you may be on the lookout for. They can even custom make any type of jewelry for you at your request.
