And Ive traveled to many places on this globe of ours. Literally, just today, I was complemented on a beautifully embroidered laptop case I was using while working at my local coffee shop that I purchased at this amazing shop a few years ago. And I get the comment " I LOVE YOUR EARRINGS," Every single time I wear my brass, hammered hoops from India. EVERY SINGLE TIME! I even went back and got a second pair, just in case, because I wear them nearly daily and thought I lost one once! If you want to feel like youve just been on a journey on the other side of our beautiful planet, definitely stop by SHIVA MOON next time youre Nevada City, CA! You wont be disappointed!!

The shiva Moon is my number one shop for gifts, specialty rare items from all over the world, hand picked and a beautifully curated shop of incredible home pieces, one of a kind all organic woven clothing items, shawls, textiles, jewelry … the list goes on…I have been shopping at the shiva moon for over a decade. My purse, favorite dress, favorite wall hanging, bed spread , several pairs of earrings and an hand painted jaguar mug are all from there! Simone and Jugadeesh the owners are a great husband and wife duo that are always keen to welcome you with tea and wonderful stories behind all there pieces, it is truly a journey to India, Thailand, Mexico and beyond, a must see when you come to Nevada City!
