1 /5 Erica Bueso: I am writing to express my concerns regarding the legal services provided by Roth Legal Services. Over a month ago, I hired Roth Legal services and made a payment, but unfortunately, communication has been severely lacking. My son has yet to meet with his attorney to discuss his case, and despite one brief conversation, there has been no follow-up or support.
To make matters worse, the lawyer did not appear in court, resulting in my sons court date being postponed. The only explanation I received was that he was waiting for additional evidence, yet it seems there has been no review of the current discovery packet.
With an upcoming court case this week, I am increasingly anxious about the lack of preparation and communication. It feels as though my sons future is not being prioritized, and I cant help but feel disappointed by the level of care provided. Given the circumstances, I believe a public defender may have offered a more attentive response.
I understand that law firms can become overwhelmed, but taking on more cases than one can handle is a disservice to clients. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive critique, and I plan to provide an update following the upcoming court date, should the attorney fulfill his obligations.
