1 /5 MJ: I have been with Personal Express Insurance for 3 years for my auto insurance, I even added my partner for his auto insurance. They go through National General Insurance. Throughout the years, I realize their system is a bit old. The website seems not friendly to use. Now a days accessibility to your information is a must. They randomly would raise the prices, we did not mind at first. Now with our home being insurance with them it we got a little disgruntled. Our house recently had major damages which required home insurance. The claims representative we had the worst customer service. It seemed like contacting them was a hassle. We would email them, call them. NO RESPONSE.
My partner and I were really frustrated at this point. We did not have a home and were staying in a hotel for months. We would got for weeks not getting an update from this claims rep. We finally decided to reach out to their manager, which helped us.
We pay all this money for insurance on our vehicles and our home. We decided to move elsewhere. It was not about the money but about the customer service for us. I would honestly recommend another company. The prices are great, but the quality/service is not great. At this point when we finally decided to move home. We switch to another insurance company.
