Kendra Xu I had the most serendipitous and heart-warming experience at Esqueleto Mill Valley! Not only is the store beautiful and filled with good vibes, the women managers/employees I met, Marjorie and Mara, are incredible humans who love their work and are dedicated to making the shop a safe and inclusive space. I was having a rough and emotional day, and really needed a pick me up. Marjorie and Mara helped me pick out the perfect ring (out of three options because Im indecisive; how do you choose just ONE out of so many amazing artists work???) — a "flying" winged diamond by Anthony Lent that I now carry with me as a comforting pinky totem. Additionally, we connected deeply and talked for three hours, just getting to know each other and uplift each other through sharing our experiences! They turned my horrible day into a cherished memory and I am so touched by the warmth, love, kindness, and expansive energy that fills the shop. Ive always thought of jewelry as a spiritual exchange of artists love and unique creative philosophies. Esqueleto embodies respect, appreciation, and care for all the independent jewelers they carry. They also offer some of the most unique curated pieces among Bay Area shops I visited, and Ive discovered many jewelers work (eg. Shane Yamane, Lauren Wolf, Maiden Voyage) I feel so honored to support and carry. ❤️ Deeply, warmly, thank you ladies!! If youre looking for both great jewelry and great people, make sure to visit their newer Mill Valley location, and you cant go wrong with their Oakland store either. Cheers~

I was nervous about going alone but Mario took extra care to make sure I felt safe and treated me with much respect for a delicate situation. He was very information and extremely fair. The ladies inside are SOOOOO helpful (and FUN!), the selection is unparalleled and they have EVERYTHING you need to put that final "je ne sais quois" (sp?) on that awesome project youre working on. Im not kidding, go there and see for yourself! This is literally what I ADORE about Castro Valley, and the wonderful people in it. This place is TRULY a gem!

Leniii I always go to this store and the employees are super nice and the customer service is amazing. But I recently went with my friend to icing , I am hispanic and she’s African American. As soon as we walked in the store this one cashier she’s a white older lady who has her hair dyed dark red and has tattoos on her arm, she gave us a dirty look and didn’t greet us. We felt unwelcome and stereotyped . As we were trying to shop she followed us and kept eyeing us , when she got a line she told another employee to follow us and stood so close to us . We were not stealing we were just trying to shop. It makes me mad when they assume you’re going to steal without proof.

ana santana I recently bought a bangle and got a free charm bracelet from Pandora, and I absolutely love them! The quality is amazing, and they look so beautiful and elegant.
