1 /5 Michelle: I contacted Jagdeep Singh Insurance Agency to receive a quote for Commercial Trucking Insurance. I was connected to an agent named Saurav. We spoke on the phone and I informed him that my current policy was expiring in the next 2-3 weeks and that I would need a quote by then. He assured me he would be able to provide a quote by then. I also told him that I only wanted quotes from A rated companies. Saurav agreed and stated he would send me an email listing all of the information he needs from me to obtain a quote. I responded back to his email the same day with all of the requested information. After that, I received two follow up emails requesting further info, and I responded back to those emails right away. A week passed and Saurav told me he would be able to get the quote to me by Friday. Friday came and left and I heard nothing from Saurav. The following week on Tuesday I received a call from someone named Ritu Sandhu and she told me she would get the quote to me by the end of the day. The day ended and I heard nothing back from Ritu. The following day on Wednesday I sent an email to Saurav asking for an update. At this point, two weeks had passed since I initially reached out for a quote. Ritu finally called me on Wednesday evening with a quote. The quote provided was outrageously expensive. The provided quote was $30,000 more expensive than quotes I received from other companies. Furthermore, Ritu would not tell me the name of the insurance company. I repeatedly asked to know the name of the insurance company and their rating, and Ritu informed me that she would not be able to share that information with me until I agreed to sign/bind with them. How does that make any sense? What person in their right mind would agree to sign up with a unknown insurance company? Ritu would not tell me the insurance companys name and also did not share their rating with me, despite me asking several times. Finally, when she emailed me the quote pricing, she listed the company name and it was a RRG (Risk Retention Group) insurance company. She still did not tell me the rating of the company, and in her email simply stated that it is not A rated. I again asked her what rating does the company have and I received no response. To this day, I do not know what the rating of this company was. Was it B rated? C Rated? D Rated? E? F? Only God knows. I dont even know why they wasted my time providing me with a quote for a company that was not A rated, because I had specifically told Saurav I was only interested in A rated quotes. Ritus manner of conducting business is unprofessional, deceitful, and dishonest. Every customer requesting a quote from their broker has the right to know the name of the company you are getting a quote from, as well as that insurance companys ratings. Ritu was making efforts to conceal the name and the rating of the insurance company. This is deceitful practice and I have completely lost faith and trust in this company. I would recommend you stay far away and look elsewhere for your insurance needs. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, deceitful, and expensive. As mentioned earlier, the quote provided by Ritu was for a RRG insurance company that is not A rated and she did not tell me the rating of this company. I got a quote elsewhere for a A++ (Superior Rated) insurance company and the quote was $30,000 cheaper. Jagdeep Singh Insurance Agency also does not value their customers time. Stay far away and look elsewhere for your insurance needs.
