1 /5 shawn stover: Unfortunately I had to rewrite my review of Allstate. Everything was fine until they decided to change how payments are made. And that change was that I had to give up my bank information. I understand that changes are needed, however in the world we live in, regardless of the business I just don’t trust the system, especially with my bank information. Furthermore and this made me cancel my insurance with Allstate, if I don’t accept there process and continue paying the way it is as already set up, I would be charged A FEE each time I made a payment the old way. So it would cost me MORE for insurance not less. And yes they did give out a notice saying a change was coming. Even though I did tell them I was not happy about the change, I did not receive ANY word from ANYONE at Allstate to try and keep me as a loyal customer. And I was very disappointing by them taking no action to try to keep me, Instead all I received was my bill with a fee. So I cancelled my insurance and as soon as I get a newer home I will be canceling my home insurance and going with someone else.
Sorry but true.
